Ready for Spring!

I know I promised you some pictures....I'm still working on that. I can't find my USB cord for my camera. I'm going to have to buy one. In the meantime... I found some really cute things that remind me of spring. I just love these from Pottery Barn:

I know, I know - I'm waaayyy behind....

Well, it's been a loonnggg time since my last post. I took the holidays off of all communication, and it really felt great! I'm back now, and re-focusing on my blog. I've been reading a lot from 'Our Suburban Cottage'. I found her blog and fell in love with her bedroom makeover, so I just stayed on her blog for a while. She has started an organization challenge that I think I just might participate in! Christmas knocked me off my feet, and my back injury didn't help much. I think I could just about pick any room in my house to make as my project, but I think I'll start with the guest bedroom. This sort of has to be a double room project though, since my son is currently living in the guest room. His room in the basement is in need of treatment because of a little thing called water. With all of the rains Atlanta has had recently, the excess found its way into our basement. So, I'll try to tackle both rooms at the same time. Jeff has corrected the water in the basement issue, now all I have to do is the cosmetics.

Mom - since you're my only follower - I thought I would just do this little test and get you to see how my blog looks. What do you think?

Since I'm new at this, and have no idea what I'm doing! I'm going to attempt to get some pictures loaded of my living room. I'm changing my color scheme over to all white. I've never had an all white scheme before and am a little nervous about pulling it all together. I am going to start slipcovering my red sofa and my swivel chair. I can't guarantee that will be done prior to Christmas. But...I am going to try to get the living room painted before Christmas. (Jeff doesn't know that yet, so shhhh!)
